Parkinson’s WA in partnership with Ausdance WA will be holding “Come and Try” Dance Classes for people with Parkinson’s and their partners/carers.

Dance can offer physical, mental and social benefits for people with Parkinson’s (and their partners/carers) of all ages, and levels of mobility and ability.

In a Dance for Parkinson’s class, participants are encouraged by professional dance teachers to explore various different styles of dance. This can be in chairs, at a barre or standing- the classes are stimulating and held in a non-pressured environment which can energise, enrich and empower. No dance experience is required.

If you are an existing Dance for Parkinson’s participant bring a friend along! If you haven’t been to our Dance for Parkinson’s classes yet but think it sounds like fun, come along to these free classes to see if it is for you.
