of $5,000 goal

Everyone who lives with Parkinson's deserves to continue to have a good quality of life and have access to additional care. However, this cannot be done without the support of donors like yourself.

My dear friends, I will be thrilled if you would support my efforts either by helping with my fundraising events or by donating for another wonderful year of supporting Parkinson's WA.

Why I am Inspired... I have a few very dear friends who live with Parkinson's. Despite their condition, they have bravely and cheerfully dealt with the challenges daily.

Meet Cynthia
Cynthia was diagnosed in 2010 but continued to participate in support groups, research projects and fundraising events.

Get to know Daniel
Daniel was diagnosed with Atypical Parkinson's and has undergone Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS). He has sadly passed away now, but I will not stop doing what I can to honour his memory.

I have so much respect and admiration for my friends with Parkinson's. Raising funds and awareness is the least that I can do with the help of my friends and the cycling group network.

The community based Parkinson's Nurse Specialist team provides education, assessment, ongoing monitoring and support with nurses covering the metropolitan area and part of the Southwest.

No amount is too small and every dollar counts. Together as a community, we can achieve more to support the Parkinson's Nurse Specialist Service.

DONATIONS THROUGH THE WEBSITE OF $2 AND ABOVE ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE, so please dig deep!

Please help support my cause and please help raise funds and awareness for the work of Parkinson's WA.

My Updates

03 Mar 2023

Elizabeth Curtis has hit the road throughout country Victoria with her bike club and is raising money and awareness for Parkinson's WA along the way.

Recently on her bike camp Liz held a raffle and raised $300 to support the work of the Parkinson's Nurse Specialist service. She also makes bike caps to protect the riders' heads from the sun underneath the bike helmet. She made $120 with the sales from the caps and was able to communicate an important message about sun safety. Amazing work Liz!
