Ways to Support Parkinson’s WA

Closeup of a poster for an art exhibition fundraising exhibition

The association is funded by government, charitable trusts and other streams of income received by Parkinson’s WA.

The Government of Western Australia Department of Health funds 4 of our full-time equivalent Parkinson’s Nurse Specialists. The remainder of our services (including the other 2.5 full-time equivalent nurses) continue through the generosity of the community.

Additional funding is received through:

  • donations
  • membership fees
  • fundraising events
  • corporate and community sponsorship
  • bequests
  • memorials
  • grants

All enable us to deliver our services throughout Western Australia. There are many ways that you can get involved and support Parkinson’s WA.

Donations
You can make a donation to Parkinson’s Western Australia as an individual or family trust or a company. All donations over $2 are tax deductible and a receipt will be provided. Donations will be acknowledged in the two-monthly newsletter or, if you wish, kept confidential.

Donations of services in lieu of monetary gifts are also gratefully appreciated. Please contact the office.
