Ways to Support Parkinson’s WA

Parkinson’s WA receives financial support from a variety of sources which when combined, enable us to provide the best possible service for people with Parkinson’s in Western Australia.

For many years the Government of Western Australia, through the Department of Health has provided grants to pay for the equivalent of four full time Parkinson’s Nurse Specialists. The remainder of the services (including an additional four nurses) and support are funded by the generosity of the Western Australian community.

In response to the increasing number of people with Parkinson’s, Parkinson’s WA is actively seeking to grow the services we provide to people with the condition in Western Australia. To add to our nursing and support team requires a significant investment and we need your help to reach our goal.
